Panhard Levassor “Record”

New for 2010. Raced without a body at Targa Maria and won Best of Show at Gittreville a month and a half later (with a body). The bodywork from the bonnet back is made with mahogany strips. Each strip was hand tapered and glued in place; an intense, time consuming process. The result is light, strong and opulent. Chassis is conventional but with a gorgeous bent front axle (as opposed to our usual drop axles welded up from sections).
